We got a little carried away!
Gabby's Baby BlessingSo it really has been way too long since I have had a minute to update this! Sorry, but life's been pretty hectic with wedding planning. Luckily, we're in the final stretch of things and almost everything is finished. Our house looks great! Mike has been working like a dog to finish our basement so our renters can move downstairs, and we can move in. He really has learned alot and i'm so proud of him.
I've been working at Rodizio, and just this last week was able to work as a nanny for 3 kids (2 year old - Ella, 9 year old - Lucy, and 11 year old - Gabe). All i can say is that I'm not quite ready to be a full-time mommy just yet. I was there all week while they're parents were out of town, and I about went crazy!
We also have had 3 wedding showers! We have been truly blessed with some many presents and things we need, and are so lucky to have such great friends and family!
Most of the pictures are from the 4th of July. We went to Yuba Lake with my family and some friends and as you can tell, we had a really great time. It's always nice to spend a couple of days together, since we are STILL doing the long distance thing.
All in all, it has been a really busy last couple of months, and not exactly the easiest, but hopefully, in the long run, the most rewarding! We have had time to learn much about each other and our families. We also have been able to develop a greater patience and understading for each other.
